The U.S.-Arab Economic Forum strives to bring together corporate leaders and policy makers to create shared opportunities and strengthen U.S.-Arab relations. With a focus on business and economics, our objective is to initiate reciprocal partnerships to promote economic growth and integration, free trade, entrepreneurship, public/private partnerships and a modern, innovative and competitive Middle-Eastern society. The U.S.-Arab Leadership Program promotes mutual understanding and forge business, government, academic and personal links among U.S. program delegates and their counterparts in Arab countries. The USALP target is to bring one-thousand emerging US leaders to the Arab world annually. The USALP has officially opened its office in Washington D.C. A Council of Mayors promotes the development of strategies for greater U.S.-Arab municipal cooperation and the development of effective economic and social policies. AMEEAC and the Harvard School of Government are in discussions to host the inaugural meeting of the Council of Mayors in Dubai. This initiative launched at the 2006 USAEF hopes to bring over 70 mayors from the United States and the Arab world together in hopes of becoming the link of understanding and communication between elected city officials in both regions. Women Council includes the promotion and development of strategies for greater networking and collaboration between U.S. and Arab businesswomen. To accomplish this end, it is dedicated to assisting in the development of effective public policy and influencing opinion to ensure that bi-national policies address women’s needs. It is also committed to providing business women with leadership and management tools, and creating a forum in which U.S. and Arab businesswomen can share ideas, information and learn from leaders.
